The Keygrid Path is a free learning path and community for playing music on a perfect-fourths grid instrument:

A keygrid is a polyphonic instrument class arranged in perfect fourths vertically and chromatically horizontally. It is played with two hands like a keyboard, but uses the interval logic of guitar, bass, and other fourths-based string instruments.
Notes are organized in a consistent geometric pattern, making intervals, shapes, chords, and musical relationships easier to see and transfer.
Keyboard: A powerful historical standard organized through white-and-black-key geography.
Keygrid: A grid-based alternative organized through chromatic rows and vertical fourths, giving many interval relationships more consistent shapes.

Is this the same as a Launchpad?
No. A Launchpad is one possible device. The keygrid refers to the musical layout and playing system.
Do I need Ableton?
Ableton is the main recommended DAW for TKP, especially with Launchpad X, but the underlying musical layout can apply across compatible grid instruments.
Is this for beginners?
Yes. Keygrid Foundations starts with setup, hand positioning, and finding your first notes. You can begin without previous musical experience, while guitarists, bassists, producers, and other musicians can build on what they already know.
Is this replacing piano?
No. The keygrid is an alternative polyphonic layout with its own advantages.
What is polyphonic music?
Music involving multiple notes or parts at once: chords, harmony, counterpoint, bass plus melody, and two-handed playing.
